About Jodo
Jodo is a mission-oriented early-stage fin-tech startup which is building a suite of carefully tailored financial products and delivery mechanisms to fulfill the aspirations and needs of middle-income households in urban India. Jodo is started by three cofounders, who have a pedigreed education background (IIT/IIM) and relevant professional experience in financial services. More importantly, they come from a similar background as the customer segment they are serving, and have done extensive customer research to understands the needs of the customer. Jodo is backed by high-quality investors to realise this mission.
What’s on offer?
Jodo is looking to hire a technology lead to join the core team and be part of crafting the technology & product strategy of the company from scratch. The opportunity is to contribute beyond the functional role and be an instrumental part of charting the growth path of a potentially large impactful organisation.
Roles / Responsibilities
  • A hands-on executor who is well versed with tools and technologies for building MVPs quickly
  • Not afraid to get hands dirty and play back-up for any technical roles that cannot be filled immediately
  • Take the lead in building a high quality engineering team - ability to attract engineers you have worked with in the past
  • Responsible for end-to-end product development and deployment
  • Make key architectural decisions
  • 4+ years of high-quality software development experience - familiarity with multiple layers of infrastructure and application stack
  • Computer science engineering degree from a top college is a bonus - however, it is not necessary or sufficient
  • Startup experience highly preferred & fintech experience is a bonus
