Jodo is building a suite of payments and financing products to make education spends more convenient, affordable and rewarding for parents. Jodo is backed by marquee VC investors – Elevation Capital and Matrix Partners – to realize this mission. Jodo is started by three co-founders who have a pedigreed education background (IIT/IIM) and professional background (ex- Nomura, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Matrix Partners).

Role Description

We are an early-stage company which means we are just getting started! This is not just an opportunity to be part of the start-up journey but help shape the journey by building things from scratch. We are looking to hire a Product Manager who will be instrumental in shaping our suite of payments products for educational institutions.


  • User Research

    • Speak to various stakeholders in educational institutions to understand their fee collection process and cash flows
    • Generate actionable insights from these conversations to generate hypotheses for the payment solution
  • Product Execution

    • Roll out MVP quickly to test the stated hypothesis and refine based on user feedback
    • Align with banks, PGs and ERPs on the back-end process for seamless flows on the product
  • Work with Key Stakeholders

    • Work closely with founders and internal teams to build a high-quality product
    • Build a network with key stakeholders in the fintech ecosystem to be on top of the latest developments and implement them in Jodo’s products

Traits of the Ideal Candidate

  • 3-6 yrs of experience in product management in B2B payment companies
  • Track record of outperformance in previous workplaces
  • Pedigreed educational background is preferred
